What supply does

Supply is the resource that powers everything constructive in WvW:

  • Building siege (rams, catapults, trebuchets, arrow carts, etc.)
  • Repairing walls and gates
  • Deploying traps and tricks (Supply Trap, Stealth Trap, Banner of Defense)
  • Auto-upgrading objectives (the system silently consumes supply from the depot)

Default supply cap

Every WvW player starts with a personal supply cap of 10. The cap can be increased through abilities, guild bonuses and keep-tier buffs:

Where supply comes from

Supply depots

Every controlled objective has a Supply Depot. Interact with it to take up to your remaining cap. Depots replenish from incoming dolyak caravans.

Pack dolyaks

Dolyaks travel from Supply Camps to nearby Towers and Keeps on a rough 3-minute cycle. Each successful arrival delivers ~10 supply to the destination depot.

Killing an enemy dolyak rewards 7 supply directly to the player who lands the killing blow.

Camp captures

The capturing player and nearby allies receive a small supply bonus when a camp is fully captured.

Supply discipline

⚠️
Don't drain the depot

Pulling all 10 supply from a Keep depot starves auto-upgrades and repair attempts. Always coordinate with your commander before mass-pulling supply, especially during a defence.

How commanders track supply

Commanders can run /squadinfo to see each squad member's current supply count, and /supplyinfo for objective depot totals. This lets them plan siege placement without surprises.
