Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MistIntel website at mistintel.com and all related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you must be at least 16 years of age, or have verifiable parental consent, to allow us to process your personal data. By using the Service, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you should have the permission of a parent or guardian.

2. Description of Service

MistIntel is a web-based tool that aggregates publicly available Guild Wars 2 World vs World match data via the official ArenaNet GW2 API and presents it in an interactive dashboard. The Service provides real-time objective tracking, score analytics, commander indicators, and related WvW intelligence features.

MistIntel is an independent third-party tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by ArenaNet, LLC or NCSoft Corporation, the developers and publishers of Guild Wars 2.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

Some features of the Service require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update this information as necessary.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at info@mistintel.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

3.3 GW2 API Keys

If you choose to connect a GW2 API key, you do so voluntarily. You are responsible for the permissions granted on that key. We recommend using an API key with only the permissions required by the features you use. We will never request API keys with trading post, bank access, or any write-permission scope.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of ArenaNet's Guild Wars 2 Terms of Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to scrape or overload the Service without our prior written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any code of a destructive nature.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Post, transmit, or distribute content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of any component of the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

The MistIntel platform, including its design, code, logos, and original content, is the intellectual property of and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

Guild Wars 2, ArenaNet, and related trademarks are the property of NCSoft Corporation and ArenaNet, LLC. MistIntel's use of Guild Wars 2 data via the official API is governed by the ArenaNet Content Terms of Use and ArenaNet's API terms. We claim no ownership over any Guild Wars 2 intellectual property.

Blog articles and guides published on MistIntel are original works by and may not be reproduced without attribution and a link back to the original article.

6. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service integrates with or links to third-party services including the GW2 API and Google AdSense. These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• WvW data displayed will always be accurate or up to date (data is dependent on the GW2 API).
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for access to the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at info@mistintel.com.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. The "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of material changes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the applicable territory. If you are located in the European Economic Area, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under mandatory local consumer protection or data protection law, including the GDPR.
